The Huldra scarf is woven from 50% Angulla hand-spun angora yarn and 50% Huldra worsted yarn from Hillesvåg Ullvarefabrikk. The worsted yarn forms the warp and gives the scarf structure, radiance, and sheen, while the Angulla angora yarn in the weft provides the main color and the characteristic softness and fuzzy appearance that angora is known for.
Angulla is the name of the yarn spun from the wool of our own angora rabbits. The angora yarn in this scarf is spun from wool from the angora rabbit Snøkvit. Huldra worsted yarn is made of 100% Norwegian wool from Hillesvåg, a traditional Norwegian wool mill with deep roots in Norwegian textile craftsmanship.
