About Rytne Angora

Natural, sustainable craftsmanship in angora wool. Hand-woven scarves made from hand-spun yarn from our own angora rabbits.

Rytne Angora is located at Rytne in Sunnfjord in Western Norway, and is run by me, Lene. I have been working with angora rabbits and spinning since 2008, and angora is one of my great passions.

The rabbits receive excellent care, and the wool is gently clipped by hand. I spin the yarn myself and weave it into unique scarves – where each scarf is the result of the entire process from rabbit to finished product.

Rytne Angora carries on ancient traditional craftsmanship through hand-woven shawls and scarves made from our own hand-spun yarn. Each product is created with care and respect for the animals and the craft.
